fine 12swhereas at a view with court here held monday being 5.1.32Eliz1 Benedict Watson was admitted tenant of the lord to himself and his heirs to one sollar called The Taverne with a sollar thereon built and to one shop parcel of the same as appears by the roll of this manor now it appears to the homage aforesaid that after the last court and before this court the said Benedict Watson died and that before he died he surrendered all and singular the premises with appurtenances into the hands of the lord by the hands of Francis Hampton instead of the bailiff in the presence of Robt Rooke and Robt Knight two customary tenants of the manor witnessing according to the custom of the manor to the work and use of his last will and testament which testament the tenor concerning the lands is in these words item I do give unto my daughter Margery the house late in the tenure of Thos Allen and to the heirs of her body lawfully begotten and for want of issue to remain unto Eliz Bleake the daughter of Mich Bleake as is shown in the will dated 22.2.1598 under the seal of the ordinary shown in this court which Margery present here in court is granted seisin to hold to herself and the heirs of her body legitimately procreated according to the form of the will aforesaid to hold of the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor and by rents services and customs before due and of right accustomed and she made fine and was admitted tenant
