in the last court with the leet of this year it appeareth that Wm Bieston son and heir of Agnes Bieston widow took to him and his heirs by copy one tenement called the Stable with the Cowhouse and one tenement builded and one garden parcel of the tenement late of Thos Prince and sometime of Robt Mathewe and the said Stable and Cowhouse and the garden lie together between the tenement sometime Jn Bonjohn alias Turner's and the tenement late Robt Lytman of the one part to a parcel of land sometime parcel of Barecrofte of the other part with one way late parcel of Barecrofte aforesaid leading toward the said parcel of land called Barcrofte with free ingress and egress to carry and drive as appeareth in the court here holden on tuesday in whitsun week in 4Eliz1 by fealty suit of court and rent of     by the year and one croft of land called Parkefield containing 4a and a half of land be it more or less etc as it lieth near the lord's park and is holden by fealty suit of court and rent of     by the year and also two crofts of land whereof one is called Stoneleigh which late was of Jn Wingefield     and late Jn Attewood and also one parcel of land called Dovehousefield holden by fealty suit of court and rent of     by the year and two parcels of land containing by estimation 6a or more etc late parcel of the land called Chewniesland holden by fealty suit of court and rent of     by the year and one croft of land called Pondecrofte holden by fealty suit of court and rent of     by the year and also 1r of land late parcel of Barecroft aforesaid with appurtenances in Earls Colne aforesaid viz between the lands late of Geo Bieston on the east part and 1a late parcel of Barecroft aforesaid inclosed and late in the tenure of Thos Christmas towards the west one head thereof abutting upon the way leading from the town of E C aforesaid to Colne Park and the other head thereof abutting upon the garden of the said Geo Bieston called Princes by fealty suit of court and a rent of     by the year and the same Wm Bieston being now required came here to this court in his own proper person and acknowledged himself to be tenant of the premises in manner and form as is specified and is sworn of the homage of this court
