sketch plan

A respectable inn put in good repair since the purchase of mr Garrard - It was purchased by him of Wm Nash 3.10.1845 - and is the first instance within the manor of a tenant not being admitted on purchase - which the lord having already a tenant on the rolls, could not compel. The lord in the mean time looks to his tenant Wm Nash for fealty, suit of court, quitrent etc. and in case of death mr Garrard will pay a death instead of a purchase fine. These or other considerations induced mr Garrard to attend court for admission in 0.3.1847
